Tax report
Menu › Reports › Tax Report
What question it answers
“How much tax do I need to pay?” Groups sales by rate and shows, for each one, what was sold, what was exempted, and the amount due.

When to check it
When preparing your tax filing. It’s the report your accountant usually asks for.
Good to know
It’s grouped by rate, not by product. If the same product sold at different rates — because of an exemption, for example — it shows up split across rows.
The exempted column matters. That’s what wasn’t charged because of customer exemptions, and it’s what you need to be able to justify.
It’s one of the simplest to generate: pick the date range and, if you want to narrow it down, the economic activity or the point of sale. It also exports to Excel to hand to your accountant.
