The assistant can now propose, so someone else can approve
Version of Monday, September 7, 2026Two improvements on top of what was already working: the assistant can now propose an action for someone else to approve, and business alerts go from checking six things to checking nine.

The assistant proposes, someone else approves
Until now, when someone asked the assistant to adjust stock, it only went through if that same person already had the permission to do it. If they didn’t, that’s where the conversation ended.
Not anymore. If the person asking doesn’t have the permission, the assistant now leaves the proposal ready instead of simply turning it down, and someone who does have the permission reviews and approves it with one click. Approving it executes right away — it isn’t a draft left waiting for someone to remember to review it later.
Business alerts: from six checks to nine
The Business Alerts add-on, which reviews the operation every morning and flags what nobody’s dealt with yet, added three new checks to the six it already had:
- A product being sold with its cost equal to its selling price. It almost always means the record never got a real cost loaded, and the business thinks it’s earning on that sale when it actually isn’t earning anything.
- An incomplete product record, caught before it gets the chance to break a sale — not after, with the customer already waiting at the register.
- A sale that was charged but whose receipt ended up voided or rejected, with nobody ever re-issuing it. The money came in, but there’s no live document backing it up with the tax authority.
Don’t see business alerts or the assistant’s proposal approvals? Both depend on add-ons that get turned on per business. Write to us and we’ll go over it.
